Platform

The software layer beneath the shield.

Beyond the airframes and ground vehicles, Iron Shield builds the software that ties a force together: data fusion, live situational awareness, command, procurement, and intelligence. Today that layer spans four live platforms: the Lurker Platform for situational awareness, the Procurement Platform for global defence-procurement intelligence, the Defence News Platform for continuously-aggregated global defence news, and the Defence Program Tracker for following defence programmes from policy to delivery. Above them sits Capture Workspace, the private, authenticated layer where a pursuit is managed from discovery to controlled submission.

SITUATIONAL AWARENESS

Lurker Platform

A public information and situational-awareness demonstration built on public and community feeds, a window into Iron Shield's data-fusion and software capability. It is not an operational or intelligence system. A secure command-and-integration capability is a separate defence-product objective, subject to validation and approvals.

DEFENCE INTELLIGENCE

Defence News

A live newsroom of global defence programmes, contract awards, funding, and operational developments across allied nations, continuously aggregated from monitored public sources and scored for relevance. Open to the partners, suppliers, and teams we work alongside.

PROGRAM LIFECYCLE INTELLIGENCE

Defence Program Tracker

Track defence programmes from strategic requirement to contract delivery: policy, funding, industry engagement, tender, award, delivery and sustainment, assembled into one permanent record per programme, with participation-readiness tools. Built to position for our own programmes, and opened to the partners and suppliers we work alongside.

CAPTURE & TENDER EXECUTION

Capture Workspace

The private, authenticated commercial layer above the four public platforms. It manages what your organization is pursuing, whether you should bid, and what must be completed to submit a compliant response: explainable capability matching, traced solicitation requirements, evidence-backed drafting and a controlled submission package prepared for authorized approval.

One Intelligence Layer

Four platforms. One operating picture.

Each platform answers a different question about the same defence landscape, and together they form a single, continuous intelligence cycle. The Lurker Platform shows the environment: the publicly observable threat picture that explains why capability is needed. Defence News reports the signal: what just happened, programmes announced, budgets committed, contracts awarded. The Procurement Platform shows the window: what is open to bid right now. And the Defence Program Tracker maps the trajectory: where each programme is going, from first policy signal to delivery and sustainment. A partner can enter the layer at any point and move to the others without losing the thread.

The Environment

A public situational-awareness demonstration built on public and community feeds, a live window on the operational reality that shapes allied policy and spending. The question it answers: why is this capability needed?

// 02 · DEFENCE NEWS

The Signal

A continuously aggregated wire of programmes, funding decisions and contract awards across allied nations, the first public trace of a requirement taking shape. The question it answers: what just happened?

// 03 · PROCUREMENT

The Window

Open tenders and contract awards from official government sources, refreshed twice daily and scored for defence relevance. The question it answers: what can we bid today?

// 04 · PROGRAM TRACKER

The Trajectory

One permanent record per programme across a 22-stage lifecycle, connecting the policy, the budget, the industry day, the tender, the award and the deliveries that follow. The question it answers: what happens next, and how do we prepare?

Those four platforms explain the environment, what happened, what is open and where a programme is going. Capture Workspace is the private layer above them: it manages what you are pursuing, whether you should bid, and what must be completed to submit a compliant response. It is an authenticated subscription product, not a public information platform.

The Connective Tissue

The Program Tracker ties the layer together.

The three feed platforms each capture a moment in time. The Defence Program Tracker is where those moments become a story: every policy announcement, funding line, consultation, tender, amendment and award concerning a tracked programme is filed into that programme’s permanent record, with sources and confidence labels. What the other platforms see, the Tracker remembers, and turns into preparation.

With the Procurement Platform, when a tracked programme’s notice is live in the procurement feed, the programme record links straight to it (“Also in Iron Shield Procurement”) instead of duplicating it, and tender deadlines drive the Tracker’s Tender-Ready view and milestones calendar. An open notice never arrives as an orphan: it comes with its programme’s history, requirements and participation checklist attached.

With Defence News, programme records carry curated related-news sections in which every story is tied to the record with an explicit “why this matters” rationale, and the wire’s coverage of funding decisions and awards is what the Tracker files as stage changes in a programme’s update log.

With the Lurker Platform, selected records carry operational-context notes: clearly-labelled editorial observations grounded in the same publicly observable threat picture the Lurker Platform aggregates, connecting a programme’s paperwork to the operational reality that motivates it. They are context, not intelligence reporting.

The links run both ways: procurement notices and news coverage concerning a tracked programme point back to its record, so wherever you enter the layer, the rest of the picture is one click away.

Follow One Programme Through The Layer

01

A strike-drone trend becomes visible in the public threat picture. Lurker

02

A government responds: a policy commitment, then a budget line, reported as it happens. Defence News

03

A programme record opens at the Policy stage and begins accumulating the history. Program Tracker

04

RFIs, industry days and consultations are logged, and the participation checklist starts while there is still time to act. Program Tracker

05

The formal tender publishes and appears in the live feed; the programme record links to it, with requirements and compliance views already prepared. Procurement

06

Award and deliveries are reported and filed to the record, and the fielded capability changes the environment where the cycle began. Defence News → Lurker

That closed loop, environment → signal → window → trajectory, is the idea behind the Iron Shield platform layer. We built it to position for our own programmes; we opened it to the partners, suppliers and allied manufacturers we work alongside, because a prepared industrial base protects more people.
