One robotic chassis, multiple missions: Iron Shield expands the RAVLYK family

The RAVLYK architecture is based on a common robotic chassis rather than a separate vehicle for every mission. Interchangeable modules connect through shared mechanical and electrical interfaces, allowing operators to reconfigure the platform in the field.
This approach can reduce the number of independent drivetrains, spare-parts inventories, maintenance procedures and operator-training programs required to support several missions.
The RAVLYK Cargo configuration is designed to deliver water, provisions, fuel and equipment to positions too exposed for a crewed vehicle. Depending on the selected base, the platform can carry up to 500 kilograms and tow equipment weighing up to 2,000 kilograms.
The casualty-evacuation configuration replaces the cargo module with a stretcher-based recovery system. The robotic vehicle can enter an exposed position while the recovery team remains behind cover, reducing the number of personnel required to move into the danger area.
The Shahed Detector configuration adds a telescoping sensor mast supporting acoustic detection and visual observation of Shahed-type one-way attack drones. The mobile robotic platform can reposition the sensor package and provide early-warning information to the air-defense units responsible for responding.
RAVLYK-FireGuard adapts the same mobility architecture for hazardous firefighting and rescue environments using a water-and-foam support configuration. The industrial version is intended for autonomous or remotely supervised patrol of critical infrastructure and other large sites.
The Ukrainian-origin RAVLYK UMP-2 platform has completed military codification, is approved for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has been assigned a NATO Stock Number. The NATO Stock Number is a logistics identifier and does not represent NATO procurement or endorsement.
Individual mission modules may have different approval, testing and availability status. Proposed Iron Shield configurations and future Canadian licensed production remain subject to technical validation, definitive agreements and applicable governmental approvals.
