Iron Shield Systems has opened the public version of the Lurker Platform, providing a live demonstration of the company’s approach to information aggregation, geospatial visualization and situational awareness.

Development of Lurker began in autumn 2025 with a straightforward objective: take information arriving through different publicly available and community-derived feeds and organize it into one understandable operating picture.

In a fragmented information environment, individual reports may have limited value when viewed in isolation. Lurker demonstrates how separate observations can be geographically organized, time-correlated and presented in a common interface. This helps users understand the operational environment that influences allied policy, capability requirements and defense procurement.

The public Lurker portal is an information and technology-demonstration platform. It is not an operational command-and-control system, intelligence product or targeting platform. Information displayed through the public service may be incomplete, delayed or unverified and should not be treated as authoritative operational reporting.

A secure command-and-integration capability remains a separate Iron Shield defense-product objective. That future capability is intended to connect selected sensors, interceptors, ISR aircraft and uncrewed ground systems as individual integrations are technically validated and approved.

Lurker is part of a wider Iron Shield software ecosystem. Defence News identifies important announcements and program developments. The Procurement Platform identifies open tenders and reported awards. The Defence Program Tracker follows programs from policy and funding through procurement, delivery and sustainment. Together, these services help explain the environment, what has happened, what is available to pursue and what may happen next.
